Specialist 2, People Data

In this role, you will join a fast-paced People Services and Solutions team responsible for the day-to-day People data transactional and auditing operations for the North American region.

We are looking for a candidate who enjoys helping business stakeholders find answers to their People-related questions and appreciates the importance of data quality.

A successful team member will be customer focused, detail-oriented, flexible with continuous process/system changes, and possess a problem-solving mindset.

This role will contribute to a forward-thinking People Services and Solutions team. It is part of a global organization that supports the workplace of the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serves as a trusted advisor to People Business Partners, COEs and managers, regarding People Data related best practices, resources, reporting and tools
  • Processes and responds to complex employee or management People Data concerns and coordinates with appropriate stakeholders, as necessary
  • Provides comprehensive analysis of People Data metrics and consults with People Business Partners to provide recommendations on effective decision making and develop clear visuals to communicate findings
  • Identifies need for and facilitates the development of internal communication or training materials and tools to support People Data team with processes, systems, and technology as needed
  • Checks the accuracy of data, running appropriate audits and reviews to ensure employee and organization data integrity and compliance
  • Provide timely data-related support for People administrative processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, internal moves, and terminations
  • Transact and approve data requests in HR systems (Workday, UKG, Kronos) and maintain records in accordance with federal, state, and local employment laws and in alignment with company processes for the North America population
  • Performs transactional tasks related to employee personal and job data changes in Workday and in payroll/time and attendance system
  • Enhances the overall People Experience by driving Customer Satisfaction through expert guidance and timely resolution of cases and queries
  • Resolve queries ('tickets') raised in ServiceNow (internal HR case management system) providing advice and support within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Act as a primary escalation point for complex People Data-related inquiries from Specialist 1, colleagues and stakeholders

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience OR High School Diploma and 4 years' experience
  • A minimum of one to two years of experience handling HR requests for People Data administration, preferably in an HR Shared Services model
  • Extensive experience with Workday, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas), Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
