Scope of Position: The Director of Community Engagement (Ada County) provides strategic leadership for fund raising, donor relations, community partnerships, marketing, communications, and volunteer engagement for The Salvation Army Boise Corps. This position integrates development, public relations, and community engagement functions to increase philanthropic support, strengthen community visibility, and advance the mission of The Salvation Army. This role supervises and coordinates fundraising events, annual giving, communications, media relations, Echelon Board engagement, and volunteer-driven initiatives, while serving as a key ambassador to donors, partners, media, and the broader community. Bachelors of Nonprofit Development and Administration (preferred)
Experience
5 years: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, communications, or community engagement. (required)
Demonstrated success leading fundraising events, annual giving, donor relations, and community partnerships. (required) Supervisory or management experience preferred. Degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, business, or related field preferred. (preferred) Licenses & Certifications
Driver's License (required)
