As a Security Officer Full Time Access Point Attendant in Longwood, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an automotive location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a welcoming, secure environment for employees, visitors, and customers. You will use communication and customer service skills to address questions, report security-related concerns, and support daily operations. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at an automotive business location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, issuing and collecting access badges or keys, and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Monitor vehicle, pedestrian, and delivery traffic entering and leaving the property, directing visitors to appropriate areas and reporting unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of dealership facilities, service areas, parking lots, vehicle storage areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
