Security Officer - Residential Dispatch Operations

As a Security Officer - Residential Dispatch Operations, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.56 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and public agency personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance-related concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe individuals entering or leaving the property, following site procedures for visitor, contractor, and delivery access.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications, and promptly report unusual conditions to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
