Cape Fox Mountain Point is seeking a qualified Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) to work at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NAS JRB) in Fort Worth, TX. Safety responsibilities will include the development of and implement site-specific health and safety plans, enforcing policies, assessing risk, and ensuring compliance with legal guidelines. This project is to Add/Alter (ADAL) the Fuel Cell Hangar, Building 1674, to support the 136th Airlift Wing's C-130J aircraft mission at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base, Fort Worth, TX. The primary objective of this project is to execute a full facility modification to appropriately and safely accommodate the C-130J aircraft. This work includes, but is not limited to, extending the hangar structure, replacing the legacy foam fire suppression system with a modern water system, and reconfiguring the associated internal support, safety, and building support systems to align with the C-130J and current mission requirements. The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. The SSHO is responsible for the management of the Contractor Health and Safety Program (for purposes of this requirement, the Health and Safety Program is equivalent to Safety and Occupational Health Program in EM 385-1-1,U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual). The position shall have the minimum qualifications set forth in EM 385-1-1. The SSHO supports internal department development of the safety program for standard operating procedures (SOPs), deliverables, subcontractors, employees to embed the quality and safety culture of Zero accidents in the company. The employee will help improve and/or develop internal safety and quality control policies. The position will oversee the subcontractors and safety specialists in support of project managers, site superintendents and their construction projects. The position will conduct training, investigate incidents, and provide recommendations for improvement, aiming to create a safe and compliant workplace environment. The employee will maintain company safety records and training records for OSHA compliance. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Duties include:
