Cape Fox Mountain Point is seeking a qualifiedQuality Control Manager (QCM).

This position is responsible for the day-to-day management, supervision, safety, and quality control of assigned construction projects and reports directly to the Project Manager. Projects are primarily performed at U.S. military and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) installations along the Gulf Coast.

This project is to Add/Alter (ADAL) the Fuel Cell Hangar, Building 1674, to support the 136th Airlift Wing's C-130J aircraft mission at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base, Fort Worth, TX. The primary objective of this project is to execute a full facility modification to appropriately and safely accommodate the C-130J aircraft. This work includes, but is not limited to, extending the hangar structure, replacing the

legacy foam fire suppression system with a modern water system, and reconfiguring the associated internal support, safety, and building support systems to align with the C-130J and current mission requirements.

The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00

The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. The selected candidate will serve as the primary on-site liaison with Government representatives and will oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with contract documents, safety standards, quality requirements, and project schedules and budgets.

This job description outlines the principal functions and typical responsibilities of the role and is not intended to be all-inclusive. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support project or company requirements.

This position is contingent upon award

The QC Manager must be an individual with a minimum of 10 years combined experience in the following positions: Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer or Construction Manager on similar size and type construction contracts which included the major trades that are part of this contract. The QCM must have at-least 2 years experience as a QC Manager. The QCM mustbe familiar with the requirements of EM 385-1-1 and have experience in the areas of hazard identification, safety compliance and sustainability. Candidate must have completed the CQM for Contractors course. If candidate does not have this when hired, they must obtain the QCM certification within 90 days of award.



  • Perform Quality Control inspections to ensure work complies with plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
  • Maintain and track quality control deficiency logs and corrective actions through completion.
  • Review, package, and submit construction submittals.
  • Conduct pre-final inspections, develop punch lists, and ensure all deficiencies are corrected.
  • Coordinate and conduct final inspections with Government contracting officials and engineering personnel.
  • Maintain photo documentation of work progress and installed conditions.
  • Manage project closeout activities, including warranties, in coordination with the Project Manager.


General, Administrative & Compliance Duties:



  • Prepare and submit detailed daily reports.
  • Manage subcontractor badging and base access processes.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, audits, and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site.
  • Provide professional, courteous communication with Government officials, subcontractors, coworkers, and the public.
  • Participate in pre-construction process, i.e. review scopes and assist in buy-out of subcontractors, develop and submit site specific and safety preconstruction plans, and existing conditions site investigations.
  • Perform pre-bid site walks and provide feedback to the estimating team.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time, field-based position supporting U.S. Government contracts at military and CBP installations. The majority of work will be performed on active construction sites.



  • Travel may be required depending on project assignments and home location.
  • Work may involve exposure to weather extremes, uneven terrain, noise, dust, and other construction-related conditions.
  • Extended hours, night work, weekend work, and holiday work may be required to meet project deadlines or contract requirements.
  • Employees must consistently maintain a high level of professionalism, flexibility, initiative, and mental alertness.
