ChristianaCare Obstetrics & Gynecology at Elkton provides comprehensive, compassionate women's healthcare tailored to each patient's unique needs. Our team of board-certified gynecologists and dedicated healthcare professionals supports women through every stage of life. Services include prenatal and postpartum care, well-woman exams, menopause management, family planning and contraception, and treatment for a wide range of women's health conditions, including breast and cervical health concerns, urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted infections, menstrual disorders, hormone imbalances, osteoporosis, and more. OB/GYN - ChristianaCare Cecil County As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide skilled nursing care while monitoring and documenting patient responses to prescribed treatments and nursing interventions, collaborating closely with registered nurses and physicians to support safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care.

Duties / Responsibilities: As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide comprehensive clinical and patient care support to a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include preparing and rooming patients for examinations, obtaining and documenting clinical information, assisting physicians with procedures, performing assigned nursing and clinical procedures, safely administering medications, and supporting patients throughout the care process. Key responsibilities include performing waived and moderately complex laboratory testing, operating and maintaining diagnostic and screening equipment, documenting and recording test results, and supporting the office's laboratory quality control program. The LPN will also maintain accurate patient and laboratory records, monitor supplies and equipment, stock examination rooms, and ensure appropriate inventory levels. The position requires a strong understanding of infection prevention, safety protocols, patient rights, and emergency procedures. The LPN is expected to remain calm and effective during emergencies, follow established protocols, communicate appropriately with the healthcare team, and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
