AsourRentalAssociate,you willserve as the face of Guitar Center in the store, greeting customers, qualifying their needs, matching their need to the right product, and pitching and overcoming objections to close the sale.

  • Selling:Able to work through GC certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques.

As ourRentalAssociate,you will:

  • Directly responsibleformaintainingthecleanliness and organization of the rentalsdepartment
  • Clienteling/build relationships with customers to fulfill future service needsand create repeatcustomers
  • Contacting local vendors and companies via phone and email to drive businessneeds
  • Reach sales targets onservices
  • Demonstrate product and service knowledge tocustomers
  • Working cross functionally with sales associates to supportcustomers and guide them through the sales processasneeded
  • Additionalduties asassigned

Requirements:

  • Previousexperience in retail operations and/or salesorpreviousexperience within a rental business
  • Strong orientation towards providing excellent customerservice
  • Strong organization skills and high attention to detail
  • Must be able pull and lift gear that weightsup to 40lbs
  • Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays asneeded

Preferences:

  • Intermediate knowledge of Musical Instruments sold within Guitar Center (Guitars, Drums, Tech, etc.)
  • Previousexperience withLivesound& Backline
