The Operations Supervisor leads and participates in daily distribution center activities, balancing direct supervision with hands-on operational work. This role ensures team performance, efficiency, and safety while actively contributing to inbound, outbound, and inventory workflows.
| ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Plans and coordinates the workflow of the assigned department(s) within the DC to achieve production, quality and safety standards, include monitoring appropriate staffing levels, reducing damages and controlling supply costs.
- Performs operational tasks alongside team members during peak workload or as needed to maintain production flow, model best practices, and correct performance issues in real time.
- Operates material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) to move, load, or unload product as necessary.
- Responsible for training, developing, motivating, monitoring, and evaluating performance of team members, ensuring that productivity and accuracy standards are maintained throughout their appropriate department.
- Evaluates and standardizes procedures to improve efficiencies of the department.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of warehouse or distribution center experience, including 2 years in a lead, working lead, or supervisory role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Working knowledge of PKMS or related warehouse management systems.
- Intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Must be Guitar Center certified to operate all powered equipment, and able to satisfy certification process within first 90 days of employment.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a warehouse environment. -
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, crouch, and perform other movements required to inspect inventory and warehouse locations. -
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 LBS, with or without reasonable accommodation. -
Ability to work in a distribution-center environment with varying noise levels, temperatures, and moving equipment.
