About the Opportunity:
We're seeking an Advanced Component-Level Electronics Test Technician to support manufacturing, engineering, testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis activities for sophisticated electronic systems and assemblies. In this role, you'll work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to troubleshoot complex electronic hardware, perform diagnostics, analyze failures, and support the development and maintenance of advanced technology products.

What You'll Do:
  • Perform component-level testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis on electronic assemblies and systems.
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings, electrical schematics, technical diagrams, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Utilize electronic test equipment including:
    • Multimeters
    • Oscilloscopes
    • Signal Generators
    • Automated Test Programs
    • Specialized Diagnostic Equipment
  • Conduct functional and diagnostic tests and document results in prescribed formats.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic test failures and determine root causes.
  • Prepare failure reports and associated technical documentation.
  • Design and construct tooling, fixtures, and specialized test setups to support engineering and manufacturing activities.
  • Analyze, organize, and interpret test data to identify cause-and-effect relationships and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support process improvements, product quality initiatives, and manufacturing problem resolution efforts.
  • Partner with engineering and operations teams to improve product reliability and performance.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • 3+ years of experience performing component-level electronics testing, troubleshooting, repair, or diagnostic activities.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, laboratory, or production environments involving electronic assemblies.
  • 2+ years of experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, and automated test systems.
  • 2+ years of experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • 2+ years of experience performing root cause investigations, failure analysis, or technical problem-solving activities.
  • Associate's degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Engineering Technology, or related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify process improvements.
  • Excellent documentation and technical reporting skills.

  • Ability to identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and AI-assisted analysis.
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and drug screen.
  • Overtime: May be required based on production schedules and engineering priorities.
  • Lifting Requirements: Ability to safely perform the physical requirements associated with laboratory, testing, and manufacturing support activities.

  • Successful candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.
