Printpack Inc., a leading manufacturer in flexible packaging, is seeking a qualified Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for the location in Villa Rica, GA. This position will report to the Scheduling Warehouse Supervisor.

The Shipping Coordinator role will ensure timely and accurate shipment of customer orders, maintain operational efficiency.

Work Schedule: M-F 7:00 am - 3:00 pm (overtime as needed)
Pay Rate: $22.53 - $33.79 (based on qualifications, skills, experience)

Key Responsibilities

The Associate must:

  • Perform all assigned shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties

  • ProcessPlant Warehouse production releases and support daily shipping and receiving operations

  • Coordinate and maintain the receiving schedule in partnership with the Scheduling Warehouse Supervisor

  • Support ABC Recycling, Zero Landfill, and environmental compliance activities

  • Order, monitor, and maintain pallets, end boards, and shipping/wrapping supplies

  • Process FedEx shipments, MRO requisitions, and complete system transactions using Infolink

  • Perform and assist with cycle counts to support inventory accuracy

  • Have general working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Successfully complete required forklift training, licensing and Forklift Train-the-Trainer certification; safely operate material handling equipment and support forklift training initiatives

  • Maintainaccurate electronic and paper files, records, and administrative documentation for the Shipping Department

  • Maintain flexible work availability, including providing coverage and working overtime, nights, and weekends as required

  • Cross-train and provide operational support to Digital Plant Shipping/Receiving Department as business needs require

  • Must be willing to train designated associate to serve as backup in this role

  • Must understand and use the Transportation Management System

  • Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skillsto effectively prioritize workload, meet established deadlines, and consider others workload

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly workspace to ensure information, documents, and materials can be easily accessed by others during periods of absence.

  • Exercise sound judgmentin choosing the most effective and appropriate communication method to ensure timely and accurate information sharing, including verbal, written,email and Microsoft TEAMS.

  • Actively participate on the Plant Food Safety Teamand follow food safety policies, procedures, and exercise best practices in all daily work activities

  • Be willing to cross-train to provide functional coverage and support for Production area operations as business needs require.

Position Requirements

The Associate must be able to:

  • Work effectively under time-sensitive conditions, while remaining calm, organized, and focused, particularly during peak shipping periods and end-of-shift cutoff times.

  • Prioritize time-sensitive tasks, adjust work hours as needed to support operational demands, and communicate issues promptly to meet deadlines.

  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast paced environment

  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail where errors may impact customer satisfaction, inventory accuracy, or production flow

  • Respond to unexpected changes in schedules, priorities, shipment volumes, or delivery issues verbally and in writing

  • Problem-solving under pressure to resolve damaged product, shipping discrepancies, or system issues

  • Manage frequent interruptions while performing tasks requiring concentration

  • Interact regularly with internal departments, drivers, carriers, and vendors

  • Perform routine mathematical calculations related to counts, weights, and quantities

  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, other departments, and internal & external customers.

  • Adapt to changing priorities and workload demands

  • Work independently and as part of a team while exercising sound judgment

  • Maintain appropriate role boundaries and operate within the scope of assigned responsibilities and authority

Physical, Mental, and Environmental Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to:

  • Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods of time

  • Use hands and fingers to handle and operate tools, scanners, computers, and shipping equipment

  • Lift, carry, push, and/or pull materials, typically up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, hand trucks, or similar devices

  • Perform repetitive motions associated with packaging, labeling, scanning, and data entry

  • Sit and work at a computer for periods of time to complete shipping documentation and system transactions

The associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, industrial noise levels, and varying temperatures in a manufacturing or warehouse environment and must be able to work safely within these conditions.

  • Must demonstrate Core Values

  • Must be in good standing with no disciplinary action or attendance issues beyond a Verbal warning within last 120 days

  • Must be rated at Performer or higher on last review

  • Must not be on a Performance Improvement Plan

  • Must be in current role a minimum of 120 days
