Location: Oncology Consultants - Memorial CityPay Range: $54,641.60 - $101,462.40 Position SummaryThe Infusion Float RN/Authorization Department Liaison is a compassionate and skilled registered nurse who plays a vital role in both clinical care and administrative coordination within the outpatient oncology setting. This role supports patients throughout their cancer journey while also serving as a key connection between clinical teams and the authorization department. In addition to providing high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) standards, this nurse supports infusion clinics and ensures timely, accurate communication regarding treatment authorizations. The role requires strong oncology-specific knowledge, adaptability to float between clinic locations, and exceptional communication skills. This nurse will travel to assigned clinics as needed and must be flexible in responding to last-minute staffing changes to ensure uninterrupted patient care. As the primary liaison to the authorization department, the RN collaborates closely to address concerns, assist with biosimilar updates, and serve as the point person for start-of-year authorization transitions. The Infusion Float RN/Authorization Liaison plays a critical role in maintaining efficient clinical workflows and seamless coordination between departments.
