Pediatric Cardiac SurgeryFellowship Program Open Position for a 1st Year Fellow in Washington D.C

Children's National Medical Center in Washington D.C. has an open Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Fellowship Position for its 2-year training program.We have an excellent, comprehensive training program that has produced several leaders in the field of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery.

This is a great opportunity for someone who may be interested in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery since our institution was named one of the Best Hospital for Cardiology & Heart Surgery in US News and World Report 2025-2026 rankings.

Prerequisite for training:

- Musthave completed 3years of Cardiac SurgeryResidencyin an approved training program before June 1, 2027.

- Additional pediatric cardiac surgery experience (preferred).

- Must have three (3) letters of recommendations from training program.

- Must have completed medical school in the U.S. or Canada or be ECFMG certified if an international medical graduate.

- Mustbe successfully able to obtain a District of Columbia medical license prior to starting fellowship training.

- Must have successfully passed all three steps of the USMLE.

July 1, 2027

The disclosed salary range includes the minimum and maximum rates within which Children's National believes an individual's base pay rate will fall for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the maximum of the pay range. The exact pay rate for this position will be based on a variety of factors in alignment with the Children's National compensation philosophy. These factors are legitimate and non-discriminatory including, but not limited to, the current market conditions; organizational needs; the individual's combination of prior work experience, level of education, knowledge, skills, and other qualifications. This base salary range does not include our comprehensive benefits package or any additional compensation for which this position may be eligible.
