Responsible for growing loan production volume within the Builder Services Division through collaboration, developing effective marketing plans and by assisting in the development and maintenance of preferred lender relationships with builder partners. Other duties as assigned.Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities: * Contributes to the mortgage department success by working with Builder Services Division to identify short-term and long-range goals; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives. * Maintains and updates all excel spreadsheets on builder accounts to include all pertinent data. i.e. capture rates, subdivisions, builder personnel, etc. * Maintains, updates, and creates all Builder Services related materials on the intranet under the Builder Services Tab in AllRegs * Collaboration with Builder Services Division by utilizing all reporting agency data with Metro Study, Corelogic and Encompass * Contributes to pipeline management of all builder related loans * Develop and maintains involvement and relationships in all Homebuilder Associations * Increase builder market share by visiting builder communities, developing marketing plans and programs for the mortgage department, loan products, and/or individual loan officers. * Coordinate with corporate marketing to develop and maintain all mortgage advertising and promotional activities. * Develops and maintains relationships with professional referral sources by organizing and developing specific builder/realtor relations programs through email, direct mail, online and print marketing materials, special events, trade shows, and more. * Coordinates with the Builder Services Division to plan, prepare materials, attend, and assist in leading sales meetings for both internal Ameris employees and external referral sources. * Maintains research database for customers and referral sources by identifying, assembling, and analyzing production and market information. * Provides short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data. * Work with Builder Services Division and managers to manage financial responsibilities for sponsorships, marketing agreements, professional memberships, special events, meetings, office supplies, marketing and promotional materials, and more. * Assists Builder Services Division with recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training of loan officers. * Coordinates with corporate marketing on the management and development of crossover programs and leads between the bank and mortgage division. * Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: * Proficient in all Microsoft Office including (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). * Works as a team-player with a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done. * Proficient in Adobe Acrobat. * Ability to prioritize and multitask. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills Industry and Work Experience: * 5+ years mortgage and customer service related experience required Academic: * High school diploma or GED required * Associate's / Bachelor's degree or related field preferred.
