Description
This position is responsible for reviewing damages on vacant properties, determining if they are required to be repaired per investor guidelines, and requesting funding for the damages. Insurance claims are filed with insurance adjusters via phone and email to provide necessary documentation for the purpose of settling claims in a timely manner. Funding and damage approval requests to investors involve gathering necessary supporting documentation and submitting a written request. - Reviewing property inspection results and confirming any reported property vacancies
- Reviewing vacant property condition reports and property appraisals to assess damage - Updating system notes with detailed status updates on the funding request
- Reviewing claims & investor responses to ensure damages were covered on the claim - Appealing denials if necessary Position Requirements Candidates must possess up to one year of relevant work experience to be considered, and previous property preservation or property insurance experience is preferred. Additional requirements include: - Strong analytical problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Time management / ability to meet deadlines - Assertiveness / ability to provide clear direction - A strong bias for action and exercises good judgment - Strong oral / written communication skills - Strong organizational skills - Proficient math skills ** This position is fully onsite functioning in an administrative/ clerical capacity processing loan level property preservation files. **
