The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a 37-bed unit that provides the highest level of care for critically ill and medically complex newborns throughout the region. We deliver comprehensive, family centered care to preterm and full-term infants with the most complex medical and surgical conditions. Our unit is staffed 24 hours per day by a highly specialized multidisciplinary team which includes board certified neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, neonatal nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, dietitians, social workers, lactation specialists, and pediatric subspecialists. The multidisciplinary team delivers highly specialized monitoring, critical care interventions, and evidence-based treatment focused on achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care. To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. NPR Certification is required upon hire for experienced nurses and required within 6 months of hire for New to Specialty RNs. S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification is required within 1 year of hire. National Certification is preferred. At least 1 year of Pediatric RN experience is required, while 2 years of previous Neonatal ICU experience is preferred. An Associate's degree in Nursing is required. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. This position is Night Shift, 36 hours per week, 7pm-7:30am.
