Job Summary

The AI Analyst supports Generative AI initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve business processes, productivity, and operational efficiency through the effective use of AI tools. This role works closely with business stakeholders and the Gen AI Product Owner/Product Manager to gather and document requirements, evaluate AI use cases, test AI solutions, develop effective prompts, and support adoption. The role is focused on business analysis and practical use of AI rather than developing machine learning models or writing production code.

Job Responsibilities



  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify repetitive, time-consuming, or manual processes where Generative AI may improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Support the Gen AI Product Owner/Product Manager with requirements gathering, documentation, use-case development, and prioritization.
  • Evaluate and test approved Generative AI productivity tools, including Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, and similar platforms.
  • Develop and refine prompts to improve AI-generated outputs and business workflows.
  • Compare AI-generated outputs and evaluate solutions based on business needs, quality, and effectiveness.
  • Document AI use cases, business processes, workflows, requirements, and best practices.
  • Analyze existing business processes and recommend opportunities for AI-enabled automation and process improvement.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of AI solutions.
  • Track adoption metrics, gather user feedback, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Assist with evaluating AI tools, vendors, security considerations, and potential business applications.
  • Develop presentations, training materials, process documentation, and other materials supporting AI initiatives.
  • Research emerging Generative AI capabilities and recommend potential applications to improve business processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support change management, adoption, and implementation of AI solutions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Technology Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Process Improvement Analyst, or similar role.
  • Professional experience using Generative AI productivity tools.
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
  • Experience analyzing business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvement or automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Ability to learn new AI technologies and evaluate their practical business applications.


Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
