Job Purpose
National Grid's External Affairs team invites you to be a part of a professional team responsible for maintaining the company's presence and reputation, advancing policy priorities and delivering positive legislative outcomes. This role develops and maintains relationships with elected officials and their staff, staff in New York City agencies, the New York City Council, Borough Presidents, and key stakeholders to enhance National Grid's reputation within the jurisdiction. Build coalitions and relationships within the jurisdiction to create third party advocates for National Grid in the policy, legislative, political, community, and regulatory arenas Key Accountabilities
* Develop and execute National Grid's government relations and external affairs strategy throughout New York City in support of the company's operational, legislative, regulatory, infrastructure, and public policy priorities. Qualifications

This role is located in Brooklyn, NY, with hybrid working.
