As a Armed Security Officer Retail in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to customer and team member needs with professionalism. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail grocery location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store interior, exterior, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or law enforcement.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in required reports, maintaining a professional presence while helping to deter criminal activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
