Position Title: Assembler - 1st Shift

Work Location: 9831 W Tangerine Rd, Marana, AZ, 85653

Assignment Duration: 12 months

Work Schedule: 1st Shift.(6:00AM to 2:30PM, M-F)

Must be willing to work 5-10 hours of OT/week as needed.

(Must be willing to work 2 Saturdays/month if production demands require it).

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Position Summary:

Executes the process of assembly of instruments. Performs basic transactions within highly complex systems and controls in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g. build product, SAP transactions/confirmations).

Background & Context: Regulated manufacturing environment supporting instrument assembly with quality, safety, and continuous improvement focus.

Key Responsibilities:

* Executes the process of assembly of instruments

* Performs basic transactions within highly complex systems and controls in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g. build product, SAP transactions/confirmations)

* Participates in the execution of protocol/validations

* Contributes to daily end of shift reports and pass downs

* Maintains Right to Operate and ensures that all processes are performed in a safe and healthy manner; Addresses and escalates any potentially unsafe hazards; Provides feedback during investigation of safety hazards, incidents and near misses using safety reporting tools

* Performs tasks/transactions in the quality system to ensure we achieve our quality objectives

* Understands the expectations of audit readiness (OSHA, FDA, QSR, GMP, ISO, etc.); may be required to answer questions about processes on the spot

* Provides feedback on NCR investigations, reworks, and corrective actions

* Adheres to 95% or above internal training compliance

* Performs 6S activities, gathers/meets cycle times and develops/follows standard work; identifies and implements process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives utilising lean tools

* Participates and contributes in team meetings

* May participate in the collection of data for daily metrics purposes and to support operational excellence initiatives and improvements

* Proactively collaborates with peers in other shifts/functions to ensure daily targets are achieved

* Other duties as assigned by management

Qualification & Experience:

* Demonstrated experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement

* Experience with Google products (Gmail, Google Sheets, gDoc, etc)

* Experience with SAP

* Ability to read, write and comprehend English

* Ability to work with cross-functional teams

* Ability to be agile and accurate in a high-volume environment

* Strong organisational skills, planning skills and attention to detail

* Strong communication skills - written, verbal

* Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills

* Excellent time management skills to manage multiple tasks and competing timelines

* Ability to use the technology associated with the industry

* Ability to use precision tools * Ability to have prompt, regular and reliable worksite attendance

* 0-5 years of experience

* Strong problem-solving skills

* Excellent communication abilities

* Strong attention to detail

* Willing to collaborate and work in a team environment

* Proficiency in industry tools/software

* Must be able to stand for long periods of time

* Must be able to lift 50 lbs

* Experience with automated manufacturing equipment in a regulated environment

* This is an essential position supporting the organizational goals requiring attendance on weekends, holidays and during emergency or exceptional conditions
