Job Title: Senior Platform Engineer

Location: SeaTac, WA

Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and optimize the infrastructure that supports our applications and services. You will play a key role in enhancing the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our platform while working closely with software engineers, DevOps, and security teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Development: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available platform infrastructure.
  • Automation & CI/CD: Develop and manage automated deployment pipelines, configuration management, and infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions.
  • Cloud Management: Architect and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
  • Observability & Monitoring: Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure platform reliability and rapid issue resolution.
  • Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices and compliance policies in infrastructure and application deployments.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve system bottlenecks to improve overall platform efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, SREs, and DevOps teams to improve developer experience and streamline workflows.
  • Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Participate in on-call rotations, diagnose production issues, and ensure quick resolution of outages.



Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 5+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
  • Cloud Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
  • CI/CD: Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).
  • Scripting & Automation: Strong skills in Python, Bash, or Go for automation tasks.
  • Observability: Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.
  • Security Best Practices: Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, network security, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work in a team environment and effectively communicate technical concepts.
