Job Description

The Curriculum and Academic Support Coordinator provides operational, administrative, and analytical support for academic programs and curriculum-related activities. This position coordinates curriculum processes, course scheduling, workload tracking, data reporting, accreditation, compliance activities, and stakeholder communications to ensure effective academic operations. The coordinator works collaboratively with faculty, administrators, staff, and institutional partners to support program delivery, maintain accurate records, implement academic initiatives, and promote continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Curriculum Management and Academic Operations
* Coordinate the review, processing, and implementation of curriculum modifications, new course proposals, and program changes through established approval processes.
* Develop and monitor timelines for implementing approved curriculum and program changes.
* Maintain the accuracy of academic program, course, and catalog information.
* Support curriculum planning activities and ensure alignment with institutional policies and procedures.
* Assist with the development, documentation, and communication of academic processes and requirements.

Scheduling and Program Coordination
* Coordinate academic schedules and support planning activities for courses, programs and other academic initiatives.
* Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and institutional partners to develop and maintain program schedules and calendars.
* Assist with space utilization and scheduling to optimize instructional and operational resources.
* Ensure timely communication and dissemination of scheduling information to relevant stakeholders.

Data Management and Reporting
* Maintain accurate databases, records, and documentation related to academic programs and operations.
* Collect, analyze, and prepare data to support operational planning, decision-making, and assessment activities.
* Generate reports and dashboards using institutional systems and reporting tools.
* Support enrollment, resource, staffing, and workload planning through data analysis and forecasting.
* Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of institutional data.

Compliance, Assessment, and Accreditation Support
* Assist with the collection, compilation, and verification of information required for internal and external reporting.
* Support accreditation, program review, assessment, and compliance activities.
* Coordinate surveys, data requests, and documentation for reporting and evaluation purposes.
* Maintain records and documentation to demonstrate compliance with institutional, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
* Contribute to annual reports and other institutional reporting initiatives.

Stakeholder Support and Communication
* Serve as a resource for faculty, staff, students, and external partners regarding academic processes and procedures.
* Coordinate communications related to academic schedules, curriculum updates, and program operations.
* Process requests for academic documentation, verifications, and related services as appropriate.
* Promote positive working relationships and effective communication across stakeholder groups.

Continuous Improvement and Administrative Support
* Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, workflow processes, and service delivery.
* Participate in planning discussions and implement solutions to support program and organizational goals.
* Develop and maintain process documentation and best practices.
* Provide cross-functional administrative support and backup coverage as needed.
* Assist with special projects, strategic initiatives, and other duties as assigned.

Shift

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with occasional evenings or weekends

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in higher education serving as an advisor to students or similar student services role
* Knowledge of academic policies
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
* Excellent attention to detail
* Experience with data collection, management, and report generation
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Possess the ability to respond to supervision and demonstrate appropriate independence
* Ability to work effectively both individually and as a part of a team

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $54,000 to $58,000 annually

Grade: GGS-10
