We're seeking an Engineering Technician I to support the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and prototyping of advanced semiconductor equipment. In this hands-on role, you'll work alongside engineers and technical teams to build and validate highly complex mechanical and electrical systems while supporting new product introduction and manufacturing improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do:
  • Assemble and test newly developed semiconductor equipment using work instructions, engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Follow detailed instructions, documentation, and shift pass-down communications to build mechanical and electrical hardware setups.
  • Execute test procedures and document results while generating problem reports when issues are identified.
  • Support fabrication, prototyping, and engineering development activities.
  • Create problem reports (PRs) and assist with inspection documentation.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues within assembly and test environments.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to resolve manufacturability, fit, form, function, and BOM-related issues.
  • Utilize diagnostic software and equipment to collect operational data and support product evaluations.
  • Participate in safety inspections and support Risk Management By Walking Around (RMBWA) activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering support, equipment assembly, testing, laboratory operations, or related technical environments.
  • 1+ years of experience assembling mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical systems from engineering documentation.
  • 1+ years of experience following detailed work instructions, technical procedures, and assembly documentation.
  • 1+ years of experience supporting testing, prototyping, fabrication, or troubleshooting activities.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Experience using computers, diagnostic software, or technical systems in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting semiconductor equipment, capital equipment, or advanced manufacturing systems.
  • Mechanical and electrical assembly experience.
  • Experience creating test reports, documenting issues, and supporting product validation activities.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify root causes of technical issues.
  • Strong ability to follow instructions, documentation, engineering procedures, and email pass-down communications.
  • Experience supporting prototype builds and engineering development programs.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work in a fast-paced technical environment.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • Overtime: May be required based on engineering schedules, project demands, and business needs.
  • Cleanroom Requirements: Ability to work in a cleanroom while wearing PPE, including bunny suits, gloves, masks, safety glasses, face shields, and safety footwear.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to install components from working heights of 12" to 71" and reach into equipment to perform assembly and testing activities.
  • Shift Duration: Ability to work shifts up to 12 hours as required.
  • Work Arrangement: 100% onsite.
