Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Lot Trace Admin is responsible for implementation of a OHCMS System. This involves developing, maintaining, and ensuring complete implementation of the system. This position will coordinate the interface between HWF and HIT. It will also coordinate Lot Trace interface with Cost Accounting, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Data Processing. It will contribute to the overall performance of HWF by implementing new or revised computer programs or systems to meet HWF's needs. This position renders service to maintain operability of labor reporting critical to manufacturing and inventory control. It will also support areas that depend on them for even workflow and/or ability to function.

Job Responsibilities

  • Process owner for OHCMS - One Howmet Casting Manufacturing System
  • Test and implement lot trace program modifications and improvements
  • Validate integrity of system data
  • Write and maintain policies and procedures for lot trace systems
  • Continual training for new and existing employees in lot trace systems
  • Provide off hours support to lot trace
  • Physical inventory support
  • EBS Plant Item SPA
  • Compliant with all EHS rules related to the work environment

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are condition upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration desirable
  • Working knowledge of OHCMS system
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Quick response time
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint with knowledge of SQL database and queries.
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Proficient knowledge of manufacturing, accounting, labor reporting, routings, inventory control and quality requirements.
