As a Security Guard Driver Patrol Response in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to shoppers, tenants, and staff. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized access, theft, trespassing, and disruptive conduct.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
