Join our team as a Grounds & Light Maintenance Technician in Dillion, CO! Are you someone who enjoys working with your hands and takes pride in a job well done? We're seeking a dependable Grounds & Light Maintenance Technician to help care for our 243-unit affordable and workforce housing community Wintergreen, located in Dillon, CO. From keeping outdoor areas clean and well-maintained to assisting with basic repairs and supporting the maintenance team, you'll play an important role in keeping the property safe, attractive, and comfortable for residents year-round. What You'll Do:
Maintain the grounds to ensure the properties are attractive, safe, and well-kept, including mowing, trimming, watering, weeding, and seasonal upkeep. Complete light maintenance and corrective repairs in apartments and common areas, including basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, lock changes, and fixture replacements. Assist with apartment make-readies by cleaning, painting, and preparing units for new residents. Perform daily property walks to keep the property & grounds clean, safe, and looking sharp. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and grounds. Support inventory control of tools, equipment, and supplies and assist outside vendors as needed. Interact professionally with residents, team members, and vendors while providing excellent customer service.
What You Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous maintenance & groundskeeping experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and general repairs. Ability to read and complete work orders and service requests accurately. Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurability requirements. Good communication skills, strong safety awareness, and a team-oriented mindset. Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 30+ pounds and working both indoors and outdoors.
