As a Patient Care Technician, you'll work alongside nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and create a safe, compassionate environment. Daily Responsibilities Include:Assisting patients with personal hygiene and daily care needs Supporting mobility, ambulation, repositioning, and patient comfort Monitoring and documenting vital signs and patient information in the electronic medical record Assisting with admissions, discharges, and patient transfers Collecting specimens and performing point-of-care testing as assigned Observing and reporting changes in patient conditions Supporting patient safety initiatives and infection prevention practices Performing clerical duties including answering phones and monitoring unit communication systems Advanced Skills You May PerformWith additional training and competency validation, PCTs may assist with:
