Overview

The Finance Systems Analyst assists with supporting assigned finance/accounting applications for the enterprise such as costing, productivity, benchmarking, budgeting, and related reporting tools. Responsibilities may include assisting with platform administration, configuration/profile maintenance, business rules, testing, data integrity, user support, system documentation, and basic analytics tied to those platforms. Assists with system audits and reviewing application outputs to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely information. Prepares routine analyses to support decision making. Works collaboratively with various stakeholders across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

Assists with supporting assigned finance and accounting applications such as costing, productivity, benchmarking, budgeting, and related reporting tools. This includes administration and maintenance of profiles, business/costing rules, testing, data integrity, user support, system documentation, and basic analytics.
Assists with financial projects for the enterprise while leveraging and analyzing and operational data from various sources to improve the performance.
Builds and maintains reports, dashboards, and presentations to support financial analysis and operational decision-making.
Assists in providing financial assessments and recommendations for operational departments leveraging data reporting tools.
Assist with the month-end close processes and analytical reporting to identify and explain variances.
Works collaboratively with operational leaders acting as a financial liaison for corporate accounting.
Provides end-user support and training related to assigned financial systems and reporting tools.
Assists with initiatives and projects that support corporate financial objectives.
Maintains assigned monthly financial reconciliations as assigned.
Assists with ad hoc analytical projects, proformas, and reporting requests.
May include accounting functions including contractual allowance reserve calculations, identification of appropriate accruals, and broad understanding of income statements and balance sheet accounts.
Supports system accounting and regional finance teams as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $26.41per hour - $44.1per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
