What you'll do:
Quality Control / Chassis Check-In Specialist We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Control / Chassis Check-In Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for inspecting incoming and completed chassis, maintaining accurate records, coordinating chassis availability, and supporting service repairs to keep our operations running efficiently. What You'll Do * Inspect chassis according to established specifications and quality standards * Track chassis drop-offs, pickups, and completed units * Complete final inspections, documentation, and service reports * Ensure chassis needed for scheduled work are available and ready * Perform rework and service-related tasks as needed * Communicate with supervisors and cross-functional teams to resolve issues * Use basic hand, power, cordless, and pneumatic tools * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while supporting 5S initiatives * Identify opportunities for process and quality improvements What you need to be successful:
What We're Looking For * High school diploma or GED * Valid Maine driver's license * Service shop experience preferred * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality * Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic * Self-motivated and able to work independently * Team-oriented with strong communication and listening skills * Basic computer skills * Willingness to learn, adapt to change, and pursue additional training * Ability to work overtime when needed and travel occasionally Why Aebi Schmidt Group?
