Finance Assistant

Help wanted Finance Officer Town of Harwinton is accepting applications for the position of a F/T Finance Assistant/Human Resources. This is a non-union position with benefits and set hours. Qualifications include a minimum of five years experience performing computer automated accounting, budgeting, and other financially related analytical tasks. A working knowledge of GAAP and GASB standards is required. A BS degree in Accounting Financial Business or a closely related field. Experience and knowledge of accounting software packages that include payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable a must. Attention to detail, confidentiality, thoroughness a must.
