As an Armed Security Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, substations, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry of authorized personnel, vehicles, and vendors in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional support when needed.
• Document observations, incidents, patrol activities, and access-related concerns through required reports and communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
