Position Summary:

Position responsible for providing leadership and direction to Utah reclamation, distribution, and IRS Mailroom staff by successfully managing all aspects of reclamation, distribution, and mailroom services provided to the Defense Logistics Agency, AECOM, and Service Source by NewView Oklahoma, including training, reclamation processes, repairs, scheduling, production, shipping/receiving and distribution, warehousing, inventory, quality control, and safety.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all aspects of the reclamation process according to established company and quality standards.
  2. Plan area staffing and production to achieve on-time delivery of products.
  3. Manage inventory of supplies and materials.
  4. Utilize reports such as the production dashboard, time and attendance, and other applicable reports to plan, monitor, and measure the effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
  5. Ensure the accuracy and quality of reclamation, distribution, and mailroom processes.
  6. Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to employees and staff to foster effective communication and teamwork.
  7. Ensure reclamation areas comply with all safety codes, policies, and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  8. Ensure operational consistency and continuous improvement by practicing ISO quality management system standards, with emphasis on training and development of standard job instructions for all areas.
  9. Assist in the development and implementation of plant policies, procedures, and processes.
  10. Manage personnel administration, including hiring, training, performance reviews, career planning, corrective actions, and termination, in coordination and collaboration with the Human Resource Director.
  11. Collaborate effectively with management and employees across all areas of the organization.
  12. Serve as a back-up for the IRS Mailroom.
  13. Must wear all protective equipment required by department.
  14. Must follow all company policies and procedures, including departmental safety policies.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Minimum education, experience, training, licensure, certification):

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in plant operations, warehouse distribution, or a combination of both.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to pass a Public Trust Review.
  • Must have a current, valid driver's license.

Physical requirements of the job:

Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Duties are performed in a warehouse and production environment and require standing, walking, reaching, lifting, and the use of personal protective equipment; occasional travel between reclamation, distribution, and mailroom work areas may be required.
