Hourly Pay Range: $18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights:
- Position: Rehab Technician -Outpatient Physical Rehab Services
- Location: Rolling Meadows, IL
- Full time/Part time: Full Time, 40 hours/week
- Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm (Monday - Friday)
- Required Travel: No
What you will do:
- Assists therapist with patient set-up prior to treatment and with equipment removal following treatment.
- Provides support and assistance in various patient treatment activities
- Communicates treatment effects and changes in patient condition to the therapist
- Maintains department equipment, supplies and accessories.
- Cleans all equipment, maintains logs and checks equipment condition. Performs inventory control of departmental supplies and equipment.
- Performs various clerical tasks which may include: filing medical records and patient documentation, retrieving medical records for HIM/EHS/PFS and copying records for requesting departments.
- Copies and faxes documentation to physicians and maintains log book. Prepares folders for therapy staff and envelopes for mailing and departmental correspondence.
- Orders and maintains linen supplies, changes linens as needed and removes linen bags at end of day and/or as needed.
- Coordinates therapists' daily caseloads and schedules as appropriate
What you will need:
- Education: The level of knowledge normally obtained through the completion of four years of high school, or the equivalent.
- Certification: American Heart Association BLS CPR certification
