Location: Theodore, AL

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule: 4:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Rotation Schedule:

Week 1: Work Mon-Tues | Off Wed-Thurs | Work Fri-Sat-Sun

Week 2: Off Mon-Tues | Work Wed-Thurs | Off Fri-Sat-Sun

(Recurring two-week rotating schedule. No night shifts.)

We are seeking two detail-oriented Laboratory & Operations Assistants to support laboratory testing, quality control, and production operations in a manufacturing environment. This temporary position is ideal for candidates with laboratory, quality, chemical, biological, or industrial experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced setting.

Job Duties

• Perform laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Collect, analyze, document, transport, and properly dispose of samples according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and quality documentation.
• Assist with laboratory equipment maintenance, calibration, and analytical testing systems.
• Support quality control, environmental monitoring, and production processes.
• Conduct routine laboratory checks and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with laboratory, production, and management teams to support operational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field preferred; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• Experience working in a laboratory, manufacturing, quality control, instrumentation, or industrial environment preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment, testing procedures, and quality systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and computerized laboratory systems.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Understanding of ISO quality standards is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to wear respiratory protection and perform sampling activities in industrial environments.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and working in laboratory and production areas throughout the shift.
