Inside the Role Support manufacturing operations with an engineering focus on optimizing production processes to improvesafety/ergonomics, efficiency/line balancing, and first time quality. Ensure Production has the necessary tools and process needed to be successful in building trucks. Evaluate new product designs to develop and implement related manufacturing processes. We Take Care of Our Team Position offers a starting salary range of $86,000 - $110,000 USD Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience. Note: this is a Swing Shift (Second Shift) position What You Drive at DTNA * Design, develop, and implement new or revised production processes for the efficient/economical production of trucks * Designs arrangement of manufacturing equipment to ensure most efficient and productive layout * Designs the sequence of production operations, specifying applicable tools and equipment, and adapting machinery in response to factory conditions * Resolve systemic quality issues with robust work design. Conducts tests throughout all stages of production to determine control over applicable variables and troubleshooting/solving production problems * Provides guidance to product design engineering on technical specifications that will best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques * Ensures that production processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations * Conduct Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis on critical processes * Ensure maintenance of standard work and Production Process Assurance Forms documentation Knowledge You Should Bring
