Aquent is partnering with a major Healthcare company to find a Data Entry / Technical Support Specialist for a Temporary opportunity. In this dual-function role, you will safeguard critical donor and blood product records while serving as a key technical resource to support local network, hardware, and software infrastructure.

To be considered for this role, you must:



  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis (C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position)


Key Responsibilities



  • Data & Inventory Management: Process donor history cards and accurately input medical records into the Blood Establishment Computer Software (BECS) system; flag, correct, and electronically release hold units under RN supervision.
  • Imaging & Archiving: Scan Confidential Medical History Cards (CMHCs) and donor charts into Laserfiche, audit digital imaging logs for accuracy, and organize physical files for off-site storage using detailed Excel tracking.
  • Technical & Network Support: Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and tablet hardware/software issues, assist with local computer/printer networking, and set up cellular routers and VPN access.
  • DonorID Drive Setup: Open, configure, audit, and close DonorID (DID) drives across mobile drives and centers, executing setup tasks including Production Extraction and Site Master Configuration.
  • Quality Assurance & Clerical Support: Perform self and team audits against end-of-shift reports to maintain SBC Donor Database integrity, while handling general office administration and records management.


Requirements & Qualifications



  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proven data entry experience with high speed, high accuracy, and strong attention to detail.
  • Hands-on technical proficiency with Windows 11 OS, Remote Desktop Access, computer and printer networking, cellular routers, and VPN configuration.
  • Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills across desktops, laptops, and tablets.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong organizational and critical thinking abilities.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Prior experience in a healthcare, blood bank, or bio-tech environment using BECS or document imaging systems such as Laserfiche.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and regulatory compliance standards (FDA, HIPAA).


The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45-$49/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
