The School of Nursing at the University of Virginia invites applications for a new Assistant Director of Financial Aid. Ranked among the top Nursing Schools in the nation by US News and World Report, UVA aims to create a diverse community of students, scholars, and staff who aspire to achieve excellence in education, research, and clinical experiences.
The Assistant Director of Financial Aid is responsible for all activities related to student scholarships and financial aid in the School of Nursing including: scholarship packages for all new and continuing nursing students in keeping with federal and state regulations, university endowment policies and donor restrictions; maintaining the award and scholarship database in coordination with internal and external partners; and writing and maintaining reports to meet compliance for grants and funding sources for recruitment, enrollment, student scholarships, and financial aid. The Assistant Director of Financial Aid participates in institutional initiatives that support process improvement in financial aid administration and donor stewardship. Responsibilities:
