Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree, technical training, manufacturing coursework, or leadership development training is preferred. Experience Requirements 2-3+ years of inventory experience in a manufacturing environment Experience working in a machine shop preferred Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar Forklift experience preferred Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures Job Duties Cut and prepare raw materials to specifications Receive and verify incoming shipments Maintain inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts Store, label, and track materials Pick and issue materials to production Prepare production paperwork and documentation Inspect materials and address inventory discrepancies Operate a forklift to move materials Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse functions Follow safety, quality, and 5S standards Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience is preferred. Previous supervisory, team lead, shift lead, or production leadership experience is strongly preferred. Experience with Lean manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement, production metrics, scheduling, or quality systems is beneficial. Experience coordinating with maintenance, quality, warehouse, engineering, or other operational departments is considered an asset. Individuals who are dependable, proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to motivate a diverse production team are well positioned for success as a Inventory and Production Coordinator. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand and walk throughout production areas for extended periods during the shift. Ability to bend, reach, climb stairs, and move throughout manufacturing or warehouse environments as required. Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely work around production machinery, material handling equipment, noise, and other conditions common to manufacturing environments.
