*Schedule:* Monday - Friday | 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM *Employment Type:* Full-Time *Experience Level:* Entry Level *About the Opportunity* We are seeking a dedicated *Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech)* to join a newly established urgent care clinic. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated imaging professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and enjoys working independently. As the sole Radiologic Technologist at the site, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patient safety and exceptional care. *Key Responsibilities* * Position patients and operate radiographic imaging equipment according to provider orders and established protocols. * Adjust imaging controls including voltage, current, exposure time, and distance to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. * Review and evaluate imaging results to ensure accuracy and diagnostic quality. * Explain imaging procedures to patients and monitor their safety and comfort throughout examinations. * Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to obtain accurate images of affected areas. * Collaborate with providers, nurses, and other care team members to support efficient patient care and workflow. * Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards, regulations, and organizational policies. * Ensure proper maintenance, licensing, and registration records for radiology equipment. * Coordinate and track preventive maintenance for imaging equipment. * Maintain accurate patient records to support continuity of care. * Participate in the development and standardization of imaging policies and procedures. * Identify operational or technical issues and provide recommendations to leadership for improvement. *Required Qualifications* Education * High School Diploma or GED equivalent * Successful completion of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) examination Certifications & Licenses * California Radiologic Technologist License (CRT-R) * ARRT Certification (Radiography) * Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Skills & Experience * Knowledge of radiology, diagnostic imaging, and X-ray procedures * Understanding of radiation safety principles and regulations * Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing diagnostic-quality images * Excellent communication and patient care skills * Ability to work independently in a high-volume urgent care setting * Strong organizational and time-management abilities *Ideal Candidate* The ideal candidate is a patient-focused Radiologic Technologist who enjoys working in a dynamic urgent care environment. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
