Department 10320 Blood BankPay Range $82,222.40 - $137,051.20 Shift: 3p-1130pmExempt Who We Are: The Blood Bank team at Children's National Hospital plays a critical role in supporting lifesaving patient care for infants, children, and adolescents. Our Medical Technologists are dedicated laboratory professionals who perform specialized transfusion medicine testing, including blood typing, crossmatching, antibody identification, and blood product preparation to ensure safe and timely care for our patients. Drawing on advanced technology, clinical expertise, and a collaborative team environment, we work closely with providers across the hospital to deliver accurate results when they matter most. About the Role: The incumbent to this position will perform Blood Bank and Donor Center procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures. Responsible to investigate and resolve complex technical problems. Assist the Manager with the technical direction and day-to-day operations of Transfusion Medicine.
