Overview

The Role

Get an inside look at the materials and procurement engine that keeps our projects and panel shop running. As a Supply Chain Intern, you'll support sourcing, purchasing, and logistics activities-helping ensure the right equipment and materials reach the right project at the right time.

Responsibilities

    Support purchase order creation, tracking, and expediting with vendors and suppliers.
  • Help maintain bills of material (BOMs), item data, and procurement records.
  • Assist with vendor quote requests, price comparisons, and lead-time follow-up.
  • Support receiving, inventory counts, and material staging for pre-fabrication and field delivery.
  • Help reconcile packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Contribute to reporting and analysis on spend, lead times, or supplier performance.

What You'll Bring

Required

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with data.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn in both office and warehouse settings.
  • Available to work full-time for the duration of the summer program.

Preferred

  • Exposure to ERP or procurement systems.
  • Interest in construction, manufacturing, or industrial supply chains.

Internship Details

  • This is a full-time summer internship running approximately 8-10 weeks during Summer 2027, based at various Prime Controls locations.
  • Interns work alongside experienced professionals on meaningful, real-world projects and receive mentorship throughout the program.
  • The internship is designed to build practical, career-ready skills and to help interns explore career paths at Prime Controls.
  • Strong performers may be considered for future internship terms or full-time opportunities.
