UNC Health is seeking a clinically oriented, board-certified or board-eligible Radiation Oncologist to provide per diem coverage at the Seby B. Jones Regional Cancer Center in Boone, North Carolina. This flexible opportunity offers the chance to practice within a collaborative, multidisciplinary oncology program while providing coverage support for an established and growing cancer center. The selected physician will work closely with medical oncology, surgical oncology, and other specialty colleagues to deliver high-quality, patient-centered cancer care. Our program features structured disease-site programs in thoracic, breast, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, and genitourinary oncology, as well as weekly multidisciplinary tumor boards and access to clinical trial resources through our partnership with UNC Health in Chapel Hill.

About the Seby B. Jones Regional Cancer Center

The Seby B. Jones Regional Cancer Center, located on the campus of Watauga Medical Center in Boone, NC, provides comprehensive cancer services for patients throughout the High Country region. The center offers radiation oncology, medical oncology, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care services through a multidisciplinary approach to cancer treatment. The center received a Three-Year Accreditation from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer in 2023 and has maintained continuous accreditation since 1997.
