Requisition ID:78228 Job Description: Description Join the Skyworks Timing Solutions team and work alongside experienced Product and Test Engineers to develop, validate, and optimize cutting-edge timing semiconductor products. This internship provides hands-on exposure to the complete semiconductor product lifecycle, from 1st silicon through high-volume manufacturing. As a Timing Product Test Engineering Intern, you will contribute to test methodology development, data analysis, automation, and product characterization while collaborating with product and test teams. Responsibilities Develop and document production test strategies for mixed-signal timing devices. Analyze characterization and production test data to identify trends, yield opportunities, and potential quality issues. Support silicon post-silicon activities and debug activiites. Assist in the development and enhancement of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) test programs. Generate technical reports and present findings to cross-functional engineering teams. Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities. Support the release of new timing products from development into production. Required Experience and Skills Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in: Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science Related technical discipline Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented engineering environment. Understanding of basic electronics and semiconductor fundamentals. Desired Experience and Skills Knowledge of programming digital and mixed-signal circuit concepts. Learning Opportunities Interns will gain experience in: Semiconductor product development lifecycle Mixed-signal IC testing Silicon characterization Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Yield improvement methodologies Data analytics and engineering automation Cross-functional product development processes High-volume manufacturing support The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
