Common Access Card (CAC) Support Specialist - Clearance Required

Job Description:
We are seeking a Common Access Card (CAC) Support Specialist to provide ID Card services for Active military, Reserve Members, contractor personnel and various other eligible recipients. This service support is located onsite at the Washington Navy Yard.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing and issuing Common Access Cards (CAC).
• Supporting administrative requirements and processes.
• Utilizing the DEERS RAPID Database for processing support.

Here's what you need:

• 2+ years of experience issuing CAC ID Cards and administrative support experience.
• Previous DEERS/RAPID ID card facility & process experience.
• Strong communication skills, dependability, professional demeanor, and team player approach.
• Ability to exercise discretion and judgement at all times.
• Must be available to provide onsite services Monday-Friday, 0715 - 1600
• Ability to enter data with 100% accuracy in the DEERS RAPID Database.
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
• Ability to operate general office equipment such as computer, fax, copier, and scanner.
• Ability to interact with all personalities within a military environment and demonstrated problem solving skills.

Security Clearance:

• Interim or Active Secret clearance required.

Education:

• High School graduate or equivalent.

Work Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, Onsite

Compensation and Benefits:
The projected compensation range for this position is $45,000-52,000. There are numerous factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the role, work location, education/certifications, and a contract's Labor Categories.
