The School of Kinesiology in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Minnesota seeks to fill a tenured or tenure track Assistant / Associate Professor position in biomechanics and neuromotor control. The successful candidate will have education, expertise, and research accomplishments in human movement science with applications to clinical populations and/or sports performance preferred. The candidate should demonstrate a clear commitment to research, teaching, and mentoring students from diverse backgrounds at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The candidate will join the broader department committed to faculty development and mentoring in research, teaching, and service. The candidate would be able to benefit from strong collaborative opportunities and resources that are available within the school and across the university including the Center for Clinical Movement Science, Masonic Institute of the Developing Brain, Center for Magnetic Resonance Research, and departments of biomedical engineering, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. This is a 9-month, full-time appointment located on the Minneapolis campus with a target start date of August 30, 2027.
