SUMMARY: The Operations Support Analyst will support Warfighter Operational Integration work with the Missile Defense Agency

- Provide direct support to the GMD-Alaska Product Manager, Deputy Product Manager, and Operations Lead in day-to-day execution, coordination, communication, and site support to facilitate daily operations of the Ground-Based Weapon System missions.
- Interface/Coordinate with local GMD Functional Offices and Stakeholders facilitating information sharing.
- Assist in tracking shipments supporting weapons system upgrades moving through Fort Greely Central Receiving. Assist with coordination of movement to/from Central Receiving in support of the work effort.
- Maintain and update site coordination requirements provided to personnel traveling to Fort Greely supporting MDA equities.
- Update and distribute to stakeholder's weekly report on all personnel travelling to Fort Greely supporting MDA initiatives.
- Coordinate Army Aviation Support Requests, as needed.
- Execute special projects, assignments, taskings, and requests assigned by the Site Operations Director or representative.
- Support long-term planning, development and synchronization of operational activities.
- Support Ground-Based Weapon System programmatic efforts, integration and scheduling, development and fielding, determination of cyber-security impacts, sustainment engineering and operation support efforts.
- Support GMD Program Offices and External Organizations travelling to Fort Greely to perform work supporting MDA equities.
- Coordinate events with sponsoring or requesting organizations.
- Guide visitors in planning and coordinating their visit; distro site visit information / requirements.
- Track completion of punch list items required for successful execution.
- Identify support requirements and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide site support during execution of audits, assessments, and conferences.
- Maintain / Update GMD Fort Greely information / requirements on the MDA Portal.
- Develop policies and processes supporting development and integration of projects for a "one stop" avenue facilitating positive synchronization and accountability; Coordinate with local GMD Functional Offices and Stakeholders, codifying synchronization and information sharing across the organization.
- Develop plans of action and milestones supporting external assessments and audits involving MDA facilities or mission systems.
- Participate and contribute to working groups, technical reviews, and readiness reviews, providing an operational perspective, capturing key highlights, and maintaining holistic situational awareness of current and future initiatives.
- Liaison with Fort Greely Garrison Emergency Operations Center during crisis management events and exercises, as required.
- Coordinate and process Request for information and Request for Analysis.
- Assist with coordinating reports, assessments, reviews, white papers, and briefings. Some taskings require quick turn-around to meet Senior Leader timelines.
- Maintain / Develop the GMD Alaska Mission Briefing IAW Site Operations Director guidance. P
- Process Public Release Requests through MDA PAO
- Update daily Site Integration Update for the daily Morning Update and brief to the GMD-Alaska Product Manager providing coordination status of all personnel travelling to Fort Greely supporting MDA initiatives.
- Coordinate internal classified and unclassified correspondence in accordance with Agency guidance.
- Schedule meetings IAW Agency policy using the Conference Room E-Scheduler located on the MDA Portal as required.
- Oversee updates to the GMD Alaska classified and unclassified portals, to include SharePoint products on the MDA portal as required.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Perform other duties as assigned
SUPERVISION: This position has supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master's degree + the commensurate years of experience listed below for each SOW objective in the Management and Program Analysis Field relating to: military operational concepts/capabilities; integration and fielding of complex weapon systems; conducting strategic high-level coordination activities; deliberate planning; test support; logistics and sustainment; high-level policy development; requirements, and operational document development; cyber-security impacts on operations; problem solving; working independently and leading teams.
Note: Direct Modeling and Simulation experience or completion of TREX training program may be substituted for 2 years' experience. Purple integrator experience (experience as red AND blue force integrators)/Mission Engineer and Event Lead experience may be substituted for 3 years' experience.
Note: In lieu of a master's degree, a Bachelor's degree may be substituted with an additional 5 years of experience. In absence of any degree, 18+ years of experience may be substituted.
For all SOW Objectives: 6+ years' experience must be in the missile defense industry
- 10+ years' for leading, planning & executing strategic senior-level forums & working group tasks
- 10+ years' experience in coordinating with Joint Staff, Services, and Combatant Commands
- 6+ years' operational experience in asset and/or configuration management
- 8 + years' experience in curriculum development and training certification programs
- 10 + years' experience in project/program mgmt & associated metrics/evaluations
- 10 + years' operational experience in the radar and sensors field & analysis
- 10 + years' operational experience in ground- and sea-based weapon systems analysis
- 10 + years' operational experience in command and control
- 8 + years' supporting operational exercises and wargames in theater
- Up to 10% travel per year
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
- Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CLEARANCE:
- Minimum DoD SECRET Security Clearance up to TOP SECRET/SCI based on position (U.S. Citizenship)
