Fire Alarm Technician - Fire Alarm Systems \| Memphis, TN Join Next Level Technician as a Fire Alarm Technician in Memphis, TN! Responsibilities Pull, terminate, dress, and label fire alarm cable Test all installed cable using appropriate testing equipment Terminate fire alarm panels and devices Read and interpret fire alarm system layouts from blueprints Troubleshoot and service existing fire alarm systems Work safely on ladders and lifts (comfortable with heights) Install and support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites including schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, and more Requirements 2+ years demonstrated work history and hands-on knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems Understanding of current NEC and NFPA codes and requirements Experience troubleshooting panels, devices, and programming fire alarm systems Systems experience with Siemens, Bosch, Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, and KIDDE required Experience with Edwards and other major fire alarm manufacturers is a plus BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus Basic hand tools and PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots) Willingness to travel to job sites within Memphis, TN, and the surrounding areas as needed Why Work with Next Level Technician in Memphis, TN?
