Position Title: Die Cutter

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Die Cutter at a company in Milwaukee, WI. This is a potential to hire position. Apply now! Die Cutter Responsibilities: - Operate various types of die-cutting machines in the department - Review job tickets to ensure envelope, paper type, packaging, labeling, and special instructions are consistent with the specifications outlined for the job - Set up machines to include mounting dies, manual adjustments, and entering programs - Facilitate basic running and preventative maintenance needs of the machines at required efficiencies - Monitor compliance with quality requirements of paper, dies, and envelope blanks - Follow guidelines for separating paper into recycling bins - Know and abide by all equipment and company safety practices and policies - Accurately enter labor records into a computer database - Maintain housekeeping of the work area around the assigned machine(s) Requirements for Die Cutter: - Machine operation experience - Basic mechanical skills - Quality inspection - Read work orders and follow instructions - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
