Position: Wargaming Expert All-Source Analyst Location: Newport, RI

Job Description:
The Mission Essential Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Intelligence Analyst to support the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) Detachment Newport at the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island. The analyst serves as a key member of ONI's research, analysis, and wargaming team, providing intelligence support for wargames, workshops, conferences, seminars, experiments, and analytical projects. The successful candidate will develop intelligence products, represent adversary forces and decision-making, conduct independent research, and deliver intelligence support materials that enable realistic and analytically rigorous wargaming outcomes. Work is performed primarily on-site in a TS/SCI environment and may include support to CAP and ACCM activities.
Core Responsibilities:
- Support ONI Detachment Newport during meetings, workshops, conferences, seminars, wargames, and intelligence-related projects.
- Conduct intelligence research and analysis using classified and unclassified sources to support operational, strategic, and wargaming objectives.
- Develop and maintain realistic adversary representations using established methodologies, intelligence data, and emerging analytical approaches.
- Prepare draft and final intelligence products, including:
- Scenarios
- Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE) products
- Intelligence updates
- Adversary Concepts of Operations (CONOPS)
- Adversary force composition and order of battle assessments
- U.S. intelligence architecture products
- Provide intelligence support for planning, preparation, execution, and assessment of an average of eight wargames and analytical projects annually.
- Deliver oral briefings and written assessments to Government personnel and senior stakeholders.
- Conduct independent research on JWICS, SIPRNet, NIPRNet, and other authorized intelligence systems.
- Produce TS/SCI-level intelligence products using proper classification guidance and intelligence community standards.
- Support testing events, rehearsals, and analytical studies associated with wargaming activities.
- Maintain accountability and protection of classified materials and comply with all ONI security requirements and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience and expertise in research and analysis for the design, planning and execution of wargames, exercises, and analytic projects supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) and/or the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Ten years related experience with no degree; five years related experience with a bachelor's degree; OR two years related experience with a master's degree in national security studies, intelligence studies, or a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of DoD operations and IC organizations gained through at least two years' experience while assigned to a DoD command or staff element and/or to an IC organization.
- TS/SCI with the ability to obtain additional special accesses

- Ten years related experience with no degree; five years related experience with a bachelor's degree; OR two years related experience with a master's degree in national security studies, intelligence studies, or a related field.
