Position Title: Tool Room Technician A
Salary: $58,240-$72,800/year Shift: 2nd Hours: 3:15pm-11:15pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Tool Room Technician for a company in Germantown, WI. This is a direct hire opportunity in Germantown, WI. Tool Room Technician A Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Set up and removal of molds in production equipment in order to perform necessary maintenance and PM activities - Program and operate all tool room equipment - Make alterations to existing molds, fixtures, and tooling in support of design changes - Maintain a safe working environment in the tool room for others conducting work in the tool room - Group leader responsibilities as assigned - Mold and die disassembly and reassembly to support changeovers or repairs - Coordinate and track Mold tool repairs through CMMS (eMaint) - Participate in RCFA on damaged tools from production - Continuous improvement: train and mentor, surface problems, utilize PDCA to solve problems and drive improvements, 5S Tool Room Technician A Requirements: - Journeyman Tool and Die maker; or 7+ years of experience in a tool and die or mold shop - Knowledge and use of CNC controls - 2-4 years of experience in machining operations/building fixtures - Basic computer skills - Experience/exposure to injection molds is a plus QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
